The waters of the Chesapeake Bay around Cape Henry and off shore of Virginia Beach are my playground. The quatity of "inflow" (water enterering the bay from tributaries) and "outflow" (water exiting the bay) is enormous! As a paddleboarder and surfer, I've learned that most surfers lack an appreciation of the inter-relationship of Chesapeake Bay health and water quality they surf in at Virginia Beach. Over the past few years, I began gifting memberships to the CBF and "sharing" CBF news and stories as a means to educate Ches Bay and Virginia Beach ocean enthusiasts.

Thanks so much for your story about why the waters around Cape Henry and Va. Beach are so important to you! And thank you for all you do for CBF and the Bay! The more people hear these personal stories the more we can connect people to our cause. Thanks again for sharing...
