A once playground for pirates and rumrunners, this vibrant place is steeped in history...and beautiful blue-green waters. So Where in the World is Save the Bay Now? CBF member Cathy Lukaszewicz recently took "Save the Bay" on vacation with her to the land of Northern Lights, volcanoes, and glaciers. A favorite destination for the Vikings back in the day, this country is the world's 18th largest island. Made up of fjords, warm springs, jagged cliffs, glacial rivers, and much, much more, this country is an outdoor lovers' paradise. So where in the world is "Save the Bay" now?! This week "Save the Bay" has gone on vacation to the land of art deco, neon lights, and latin lovers. At one point a swamp, this culturally rich and vibrant city often battles hurricanes and heat waves. It's a favorite backdrop to quirky Carl Hiaasen novels and shallow T.V. shows, and its expansive hotel-lined beaches has given it its "America's Riviera" nickname. Where might "Save the Bay" be?
