Ready for spring?

We've been getting an increase in calls lately from people who wish to sign up for shares in 2004. We love the enthusiasm, but we're not quite ready for your orders. We've just finished making our crop plans and ordering seed. Next week is vacation time. We'll be back to work in mid-February, and you can expect us to send you your new order forms in early March. There's even a chance we may be able to create an on-line ordering process, assuming it's simple and the fees aren't too high.

Wish us good health and forgiving weather--Rob and I are headed to Beijing!

Hi Carrie and Co!
We are very psyched about our farmshares this year and I really like the webblog. Thanks again for your sweet, sweet sweat. ;)

Welcome back to Rob and Carrie; hope you had a great trip!
This is the time of year that tests my faith that Spring will ever return. So I decided to take a trip down (last summer's) Memory Lane. Scrolling through the pictures on the blog was like a breathe of summertime. I could almost feel the grit on my workgloves and smell the sweet, pungent scent of a loft full of garlic bulbs. And even though I haven't yet developed a full appreciation of the culinary uses of okra, there's no denying the beauty of the plant. I'm happy to work among those tall plants covered in yellow hibiscus-shaped flowers. Someone else can enjoy the pods, though....

So thanks for the great pix, the warm memories of swapping stories in the fields, and the freezer full of diminishing organic veg. All of these have sustained both body and soul over this past year. Wishing you all health, happiness, and warming days. See you soon.
