Meet 'n' Greet this Sunday

We're looking forward to seeing you at the Spring Meet 'n' Greet this Sunday. The event runs from 1 to 4 pm that day. The forecast calls for sunny weather!  Here's our schedule:

1:00pm - Two events:

  • 1st Hayride (much less crowded but otherwise identical to the 2nd).
  • Holly shows where the medicinal herbs are growing and how to use them.

2:00pm - Two events:

  • Children's storytime.
  • Nearby:  Introduction of staff, what to expect at your CSA pick-up, and a quick primer on you and your watershed.

3:15pm - Two events:

  • 2nd Hayride to the cows
  • Walk with Farmer Carrie to some fields not visited by the hay ride.  Want to know where your favorite crop will be growing this year?  All your questions answered.

CSA members, we'll have a treat for you to take home with you--our guess is that it will include a half pound of lettuce and/or spinach, a kale plant (ready to plant AND eat!), and the asparagus will go in half-pound bunches until we run out.

Everyone is welcome, and everything is free, so feel free to bring friends and neighbors who might be interested in learning more about the farm.  Our staff will be there with our families to enjoy the day and help you get to know your farm.

See you then!

Your farmer, Carrie

Mark your calendars! We'll be having this year's Spring Meet 'n' Greet on Sunday, April 29th at the farm. The event will take place from 1 to 4 pm that day.

For those of you who are new to the CSA this year, the Spring Meet 'n' Greet is an opportunity to come and see the farm, take a tour, and meet the staff and your fellow CSA members.

We'll have some special activities, including hay rides and some demonstrations.

Closer to the date, we'll share the full details and a schedule of events.

We hope you can make it!
