Instructions for new member sign-up today at 5:00pm

The sign up for new members in our CSA is TODAY (Wednesday March 6th) at 5:00pm. You might wish to put a note on your calendar or an alert on your cell phone so you don’t miss it. Below is a brief tutorial. Since time is of the essence, we want to make sure you aren’t confused by the registration form. You’ll want to review the tutorial in advance, so you can fill out the form as quickly as possible.

STEP 1: At 5:00pm tomorrow, the link, will direct you to a registration form. The first page looks like this:

Step 1 new member registration
Click on the checkbox beside the pick-up site you prefer, then click “Next”.

Step 2 new member registration

Click on the dropdown box on the left and choose 1. We would get rid of this page if we could, but we can’t so bear with us. Click “Next”.

Step 3 new member registration

Leave the box which reads, “Myself” as is. Click on the dropdown box for “No. of shares” and select either 1 or 2 as the number of shares you would like to purchase. Then click “Next”.

STEP 4: Step 4 new member registration

Click on the dropdown box beside “Title” and choose the one that describes you. (For Mr., Ms., and Mrs., you will have to scroll down. Who knew there were so many titles?) Fill in your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. You must fill in all of those boxes or it won’t let you register. Then click “Register”.

You’ve done it! There are 36 open CSA shares for pick-up at the farm, and 10 open slots for pick-up in D.C. (near Dupont Circle). The computer will tell us what time you completed the registration, and the first people to do so will get an e-mail from us with instructions for how to purchase their share. It will take about a week for us to let you know if you got a slot, or if you’re on the waiting list.

Here’s the final page you’ll see once you’ve completed the registration:
Step 5 new member registration

You will also get a confirmation by e-mail.

Good luck, everyone!
